Marblist sends AI Daily and Robotics Daily by email, with their Sunday round-ups. Marblist runs the list: write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- Which editions you chose: AI, Robotics or both.
- How and when you joined: the date, the page you signed up on and the campaign tags in its link (utm_source and the like), or that we added you ourselves.
- For each email we send you: when it went out, and the tag on its links (below).
- When you unsubscribe, and how (the link or your mail app's button).
The list lives in Amazon SES, the service that sends our email (AWS, London region). We keep a copy in our own database (Google Cloud, London) to see how the editions do.
Why
To send you the editions you asked for, and nothing else. We don't sell or share your address, and there are no ads.
What we measure
The site uses PostHog (EU servers), without cookies. It records visits: the pages read, where a visit came from, clicks and scrolling, and a recording of the session on the page.
Each link to marblist.ai in our emails carries a tag made for you and that email, so a visit from one of our emails can be tied to your subscription. Links to the sources we cite go straight to them, with no tag. The unsubscribe pages don't load PostHog.
How long we keep it
Your address and choices, for as long as you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe we keep the log of the emails we sent you and the record that you left, which is what stops us mailing you again. Ask and we'll delete those too.
How to leave
Use the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or your mail app's unsubscribe button. It takes effect right away. If an address bounces or marks us as spam, our email service stops sending to it.
